First of all, I want to send out the absolute best wishes to Nick "Grandpa Hoser" Raimondi and his family. As many of you have heard, his Grandfather, Emil V. Raimondi passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. I strongly recommend reading Nick's blog, as well as Erinn's at the links below They each tell a story about a remarkable person that this world needs more of. Again, best wishes to Nick and Erinn's family, we are all behind you.

Friday, was a day we were all looking forward to for sometime now..Why? Cause we would actually get to grace a Hockey arena with our mighty presence. After leaving our luxiorious estate on the GULF, we decided to go on a Safari of sorts at a local wildlife preserve.
So there we were, trekking the wilds of florida, armed only with our wits, superhuman strength, Hoser Senses, our cameras, and our generally calming presence when all of a sudden, we were surprised by a monstorous Alligator!!! (yes, we made sure it was an Alligator and not a Crocodile after much debate). We discovered that it was in fact this Alligator that took Chub's hand in the classic epic "Happy Gilmore". In order to avenge Chubs, Momma Hoser and Grandpa Hoser took it upon themselves to decide who would fight this beast....Nick threw scissors and Darci threw the rock, so Grandpa Hoser took down the beast with the patented Moose Factory Sleeper Hold. But rather than turn him into an expensive man purse for a douche bag from Brokeback College at Chestnut Hill, Grandpa Hoser spared Mr. Wally Gator and in fact promised to find him a Mainer to eat later...And did we ever find one in dire need of a gator chomping.
As we continued our journey, we relized we were quite fanished and then sought out nourishment, so we stopped at the deep south's equilvalent of a fancy italian restaurant: Sonic. After the mass amount of advertisement we see back home despite the fact the closest one to us is in Virgina, how could we resist a Sonic Burger that was brought right to our car that was parked and not in a drive thru! We didnt even have to leave the car! This is truly revolutionary!
Now off to work we go.
Upon entering the Germain Arena, we felt a familiar aura of NH Greatness that brings a tear to a Hoser's eye. This place was once an arena fortunate enough to have Steve Saviano grace its ice surface. Of course he became a fan favorite. And soon enough, so would we.
The 1st game of the afternoon pitted the WMU wailing mules and the Mainers (spit). We of course offered WMU our support in their efforts, but we soon found ourselves i

While we were all very happy to see the Good Guys in Blue back to work, we werent very happy to see them in a new set of jerseys that made the silvers look like a good idea. Not that the all Pussy Blue jersey the Mainers wore were any better. And we can all blame those jerseys for what took place on that Ice.
It was pretty ugly to say the least, clearly the Florida sunshine and rust had caught up to the Good Guys in Blue and it showed on the Ice as they struggled. The Corned Big Red got to have the distinction few teams have had so far this year..They beat UNH. Hey, even Matt "Mario Lemiuex wants to sell the Penguins to me" Fornataro has an off day eh. We Hosers however, did not. As we won over the Germain Arena sound guy, and the hearts of the Florida based UNH Alums. As her majesty said after the game, "It feels like we won." So we took this Moral Victory, and fed the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome suffering Mainer to our friend Wally Gator. So we returned to our happy home away from home thats sits along side the GULF with a smile on our faces, cause we still had another game to play. The story continues soon, and until then as always,
Good Day, eh!
Rouge
(there, I called it the GULF! Are you happy now your Majesty?, But isnt the Gulf basically part of the Atlantic? Wouldnt be surprised if im wrong though :-p)
